I don’t know about you, but seeing this picture makes me want to go out and by some Danish products.
I understand it’s a socialist country that produces pastries, cookies and high quality anal dildoes. I would suggest the pastries. I visited once and toured one of their sex museums. Delightful place. While I was there, a grade school field trip was there as well. It was charming to see the young tykes, all dressed up in their little uniforms, checking out the interactive “History of Porn” display.
Clean streets.
Wiki calls Denmark a “market economy.” It’s clearly more “welfare-state”-ish/interventionist than is the US, but it’s not “socialist.”

Well, I’ll just have to go edit Wiki. I suspect some Dane edited to say Denmark is “market economy.” It’s socialist. And yes, “welfare-state-ish” as well. The two are hardly mutually exclusive.

Feh? I really like Danes myself. And you’re still wrong about Denmark being a “socialist” country; a few retrograde nanny-state features do not make a country “socialist.” If you still don’t get that, I’ll refer you to some of our socialist friends who would be glad to educate you on the difference.
Nanny-state??? Oh God, I’ve heard that before. Please don’t say it again. It’s lost all its punch through over-use. Let’s try Big Mama Gubmint for a spell. Has a nice ring to it and maintains the requisite heightened emotion. It is, after all, a battle of emotions.
Which is why I call the Danes guhdam SOCIALISTS! Just because they currently garner some sympathy due to the ISLAMO-FASCISTS who want to kill you, me and our babies shouldn’t cause us to tamp down the rhetoric. Nothing should. Not if we love freedom!
I have a stupid question and I don’t see anywhere in particular on this site where to ask it. So here seems to be the only place someone will actually read it.
Why does the main page on this site show every topic as having “no comments yet” when that isn’t the case? I find if I click the “no comments yet” link, I find comments. Hardly any, that’s true, but some. Like my own. This will be the 6th comment posted under the topic “Muslim Protesters: “God Bless Hitler”” and yet nobody would no it unless they stumbled across the comments that are there but aren’t there. Or something like that.
Is this a glaring flaw or simply some wise-ass’s idea of a mind fuck? Or am I asking too many questions?
